| 1, Create a new window
with dimensions (2x2), with contents set to transparent.
(File > New)
2, Now select the upper upper half of the square and fill
it black.
3, Now select the entire shape, and make it
a pattern; call it "TV-gridline".
(Edit > Define pattern...)
4, Close the window without saving changes,
and create a new window (600x300), with contents set to white.
(Edit > Define pattern...)
5, To add the TV-gridline effect, hit the Edit
tap, and select Fill.
In the Drop Down box select Pattern, and highlight your newly
created pattern entitled "TV-gridline".
(Edit > Fill)
You're done with the gridlines. This effect
can be modified to suit your need. I.e. the (in)famous crosses..(like
on space pictures, can be achieved using the same way....but
instead of using a 2x2 image as pattern, use a 50x50 image,
with a cross in the top left corner.
